Light Switches and Outlets
The more control you have over your lights the more money you will ultimately save from year to year. Cut back on your home's power consumption and see just how much you can save on your bill.
Light Switches
We will troubleshoot the repair/installation and give you a price upfront, so you know that you are getting the best price and best service possible. Whether you're in need of a standard on/off light switch or a dimmer switch (read below for more info) we will make sure that you get what you're paying for the first time we do the job.
Dimmer Switches
Dimmer switches are one of the best lighting options today. Unlike traditional single pole light switches that only turn on and off, dimmer switches give you complete control over the amount of light in a room. If the light is too bright for reading, you don’t have to turn off the lights and turn on a lamp, you can turn down your lights. Not only does this device bring ambiance to your home, but it is also environmentally friendly.
Electrical Outlet

DID YOU KNOW THAT ELECTRIC LIGHTING BURNS UP TO 25% OF THE AVERAGE HOME ENERGY BUDGET?
The light-emitting diode (LED) is one of today’s most energy-efficient technologies. Quality LED light bulbs can last longer, are more durable, and offer better light quality than other types of lighting out there.
- LONG-LASTING LED bulbs can last up to 10 times longer than fluorescent, and longer than incandescent bulbs.
- MORE EFFICIENT LED light bulbs use only 2-17 watts of electricity. LED bulbs used in a home save the home owner electricity, remain cool and save on replacement costs since they last so long.
- SAFE – The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has identified flickering from fluorescent bulbs as a health hazard, but because LEDs convert alternating to direct current, they never flicker.
- DURABLE – Since LEDs do not have filament they do not damage under circumstances when a regular incandescent bulb would be broken.
- COOL – LEDs do not cause heat buildup and they produce only 3.4 BTUs per hour compared to 85 BTU's per hour for incandescent bulbs.
- MERCURY FREE – No mercury is used when manufacturing of LEDs.
Are plug adapters safe to use?
Yes, but with caution. We recommend only using plug adapters for low-power electronics like:
Phone chargers
Lamps
Computers
TVs
However, Avoid plugging high-demand appliances into adapters or power strips like:
Space heaters
Window air conditioners
Microwaves
Hair dryers
Coffee makers
Portable electric heaters
Why do I trip a breaker every time I use my microwave and toaster?
You are most likely overloading the circuit that both the microwave and toaster are on. Try using another outlet in the kitchen to plug your toaster in that is not on the same circuit as the microwave. If you are unsure what circuit goes to what outlet, it's best to call an electrician.
